A Day of Story and Song
Performing Arts in the Castle
March 7, 2020
Please join us in the castle for a day full of performances and classes! All who would entertain with singing, storytelling, or music are welcome to perform, as are gentles who would enjoy their artistry. Improve and learn new skills in classes in the Bardic arts. Enjoy excellent acoustics, musicians’ galleries, and an indoor performance site. On Saturday March 7th, 2020, the castle will open at 9am with festivities ending at 9pm. This is a wet site – bring libations for a Brewers’ Roundtable organized by Lady Alysoun of the Debatable Lands (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Hosted by the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands, this is a free event. Lunch should be reserved with preregistration for $4 per person ($2 for kids ages 6-11, 5 and under free) but a limited number will be sold at the door for $5 (kids $3). Please contact Lunch cook Lady Arthes MacLeod (email@example.com) with dietary questions. Feast must be reserved in advance, first-come first-served, for $14 per person ($10 for kids under 11). Feast cook is THL Deidre of Clan Scot (firstname.lastname@example.org or 585-596-9417, no calls after 10pm). She will entertain your palate with delicious cuisine; see if you can identify specialty ingredients imported from Europe!
Your autocrats for the day are Countess Sir Ariella of Thornbury and Earl Sir Byron of Haverford, mka Cara McCandless and Char Branstetter. Contact the autocrats at email@example.com or 724-933-4661 before 10pm. The site address is 755 Stonegate Drive, Wexford PA 15090. Please carpool if possible and heed the parking marshal. Send reservations for lunch and/or feast to Lord Owen Tegg (mka Owen Taeger, 117 Dauntless Dr, Penn Hills PA 15235). Make checks payable to “SCA PA Inc.-BMDL”. Because the event is free, there is no member discount.
